EXPLORE THE PARK
Shubie Campgound is surrounded by one of Halifax's best kept secrets - Shubie Park. Enjoy a canoe ride or a quiet stroll along the historic Shubenacadie Canal.
Once part of an old Mi’Kmaq waterway, the canal linked Chebucto (Halifax Harbour) with Cobequid Bay at the head of the Bay of Fundy.
Today you’ll find trails at the doorstep of the campground that gently wind their way through the woods leading to the Shubenacadie Interpretive Centre where the area’s history is brought to life.
